guys, our group name in theology JZONE, composed of Mauie, Lea, Alena, Adrian and yours truly, is an evangelical organization that touches the lives of college students...



Jzone exists to draw young men and women to a committed relationship with Christ, to offer their lives to Him, to bond them with other Christians and to help them grow in their faith moving them to serve God.

This is open to anybody who wants to receive Christ in their life and become a Jesus Zone..

Alam niyo guys, this is what's making me face everyday of my life with a positive perspective... oo na, for some, you may think its corny but hindi po... this is the time to offer yourself to God dahil we are living in the last days...

they have this project called PROJECT S.C.H.O.O.L. kung saan may bible studies na ino-offer sa mga universities...
and UST is one of them...

i felt the need to share the gospel to you guys... i don't have intentions of changing your beliefs and religions but what matters is your acceptance of JESUS CHRIST as our LORD AND SAVIOR...

Galatians 1: 10 says: “ Am I now trying to win the approval of men, or of God? Or am I trying to please men? If I were still trying to please men, I would not be a servant of Christ.”

My name is Carlo Miguel Garcia; I just graduated from the University of Santo Tomas with a degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management. God has been so great in helping me to become His servant, rather than a servant of men.

Before I came to know who Jesus Christ was, I used to be a person whose only goal was to make a name for himself. Although I had quite a number of friends, I was never “friendly”. I would never come up to another person to introduce myself and start a conversation. Believe it or not, I am a very shy person. Meeting and talking to new people really made me feel uncomfortable. I always felt awkward around people I didn't really know. I imagined them talking behind my back like my High School friends used to. I was always careful in the way I carried myself, for fear of rejection and being made fun of. I was never myself; I strived to appear as someone people expected me to be.

To cover up for my insecurity and because of the desire to be “in”, I would go to great lengths to hide who I really was---the geek who simply wanted to make his parents proud by getting good grades, maintaining his place in the achiever's section, and to get into a good college. In an attempt to belong to the ‘popular kids' in school, I joined a notorious group that caused quite a havoc on campus. During this time, I quickly got hooked on vices: smoking, drinking and taking drugs. All night parties became regular activities and even on school days, we would forfeit our sleep and go to school straight from the night-outs.

I felt really good about myself, because a lot of people thought of me as cool, and I was part of a group that was known for its very bad reputation. I was even able to take revenge on all those people who used to make fun of me and talked about me behind my back. The one being bullied then became one of the biggest bullies in school, instead of being popular; I became one of the most unpopular kids in school. My grades were failing, and my relationship with my family was also diminishing.

During the final quarter of my senior year, we were apprehended for stealing a test paper in one of our electives. i was suspended for four days and I almost did not graduate. I was very ashamed because I let my parents down by doing such things. Being a CAT officer, all of my awards were also stripped away. The friends that I thought I had, also turned away to save themselves from suspension.

It was a very difficult time for me, I felt very empty inside and I doubted the existence of God. I was bitter at Him because I and a few others were left to be punished by something most of us did not do. I thought God was unfair. I also found no reason to live. I told myself that if life consisted only of all night gimmicks, smoking, and getting drunk or getting high, then I wanted out. I wanted to know the true reason for living.

Eventually, I graduated from high school. During that summer, my uncle invited me to attend this summer camp at DAP in Tagaytay. At first, I really did not understand why I had to be there, but then, God made himself known to me there. I saw how the other people there were not afraid to express what they felt about God, they never viewed being in touch with God as something to be ashamed of. During that retreat in Tagaytay, I accepted Jesus Christ as my Master and My Lord.

I made a decision to offer my life to Him. I tried to live a life that is pleasing to Him. I stopped smoking, taking drugs etc.

Upon entering college, I never wanted to be someone who was known to be a heavy drinker and a chain smoker. I kept to a select group of friends, and I also was part of a d-group back in CCF. I even tried sharing the Gospel to my blockmates and invited them to go to CCF.

By the grace of God, before graduating from college, we were able to hold Bible studies inside the campus as part of the Project S.C.H.O.O.L campaign of CCF. I also became part of the prayer ministry and the registration committee for the past two retreats. I find it more fulfilling to be of service doing God's work rather than trying to become somebody I'm not, just to fit in with other people.

I still feel uneasy trying to talk to people I don't really know. But I do what I can for he says in 2 Timothy 1:7 “For God did not give us a spirit of timidity , but a spirit of power, of love and of selfdiscipline.” Everything I do now, is not for myself, but to bring glory, honor, and praise to my Lord, Master, and Savior, Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory, forever.

nope.. JZONE happens every saturday kung saan may praise and worship and bible studies... 4pm ang start nito and it ends ng mga 6pm..
